Splitwindow Panelvan Interiorpanel Set
Complete interior panel set fot the Volkswagen T1 Panelvan (or window less) Transporter.
Available for the years 3.55-7.67 with single/double sided barndoors or single/double sided slidingdoors.
Because these busses were mainly used as a means of transporting cargo from A to B, Volkswagen never put any interior panelling in the cargo area. Since the general purpose changed quite a bit over the years, the need for a decent finish in the cargo area has been growing. That's the reason we started making complete panel sets for the panelvans. And that's also the reason, they are one of our best selling products so far!
While these VW's were initially used by your local contracter or bakery and not been taken very good care off, now-a-days owners love and care for them all the more. In fact, today loads of them have been transformed into a camper in one way or another. Only having to make curtains for 1 window and the amount of (wall)space available make them a very logic choice to use as a blanc DIY camper canvas. It's therefor we have a couple of panelvan specific camper items in our program.
All sets are made from 3mm waterresistant birch plywood and mounted with screws and washers. The top corner panels in the back next to the tailgate for the years 63-67 are made of 1.5mm airplane grade birch plywood, to ensure they can make the bend safely and smooth without the use of force. These top corner panels will have ventilation holes in them for every year of construction. If you would like them without vent holes, please leave a comment when ordering.
The panels that go below these top corner panels are NOT included in the set. If you would like these also you can order them seperatly here. Note that these will need to be cut to get the correct fitment. Kickpanels, walk-through or bulkhead panels are NOT included in this set. Just like the Panelvan specific cabdivider.
We also offer optional installation hardware. For the panelvan this includes a screw and washer set of 140pc and a set of wooden supports to fill the gap between the high sidepanels and the body.
All installation hardware seperatly can be found here
Due to the size of the biggest panels, expedition only!
